Westside Surf is on the cutting edge of teaching people to surf. Westside is a family run and family oriented surf school specializing in family lessons that are geared towards kids under the age of 13, as well as beginner 2 day progressive surf camps and private group lessons.

We stock some of the highest quality surf gear for rent in town, as well as for our students on all our lessons. Our staff adheres to strict quality standards of "if we wouldn't wear it, we don't rent it". Our stock of suits, fleet of rental surfboards, from 5'8" to 10', and great selection of boogie boards, will make sure you are warm, while having fun and catching waves in all surf conditions. There is something for everyone.
Surf Lessons and Extended Rentals
All Lessons are 3 hours long and start at the shop 30 minutes prior the the lesson time.
Lessons
run at 9am, 12pm and 3pm (depending on day light) daily.

For families with younger children 5 - 11 years old. A minimum 3 people and a parent must accompany the children on the lesson. The focus is on the fun and safety and has been developed thorough our work with the Parks and Rec and the School youth surf camps.
Two 3 hour surf lessons for regular price of $75 each and full rental until closing on the second day for $10. This is perfect for students 12+ years who are wanting to learn the basics and expand on them with expert coaching every step of the way.
